This is a beautiful plied knitting yarn made from
50% pure extra soft Australian Merino and 50% pure soft and fluffy Shetland wool
fibre. It is a close to the skin cosy yarn and also most suitable for baby clothes
and for hand dyeing.

British Bluefaced Leicester handspun yarn

unique to the British Isle and its wonderfully soft and lustrous fleece makes
the cosiest knitwear
- one of my favourite fibres to work with and

Leicester handspun yarn

A close to the skin soft and bouncy plied knitting wool, a natural beauty and very easy to work with. This yarn will make excellent sweaters, jackets, hats and scarves! It will knit up to about dk (double knit) / worsted weight.

It has been blended with smooth and shiny Tussah silk (= wild silk) to create a very extravagant and luxurious handspun knitting yarn. The colour is butterscotch with a natural sheen. It will indeed make very soft knitwear!

Choose your own colours!
handspun very soft Merino plied yarn
24 absolutely gorgeous and vibrant shades are available for you to choose from! The wool is a close to the skin soft pure Merino fibre, which has been commercially dyed. In order to keep the colourway balanced I would recommend 3-6 shades per 3.5oz (100g) hank, but you can choose more of course, anything goes. The yarn size will be between dk (double knit) and worsted weight.
I will be very happy to advise if you need any help. Once you have decided which colours you would like I will handspin them into a very special and one of a kind yarn - JUST FOR YOU!
